I was referred to Mr Clifton through my workplace BUPA scheme for my knee. I required surgery for a number of different problems. Mr Clifton was very welcoming from the beginning & as took the time to explain the procedures & how it may/may not affect my ability to get back to running again. As a keen runner himself he had a great understanding of what issues I might encounter & how best to structure my recovery programme.

From the start Mr Clifton was reassuring and suggested an epidural - fantastic suggestion. When the TKR was over I was awake and soon drinking and eating. Would fully recommend to anyone. The room was amazing with en-suite and the care was fantastic. Nurses and catering staff were amazing always checking on me and helping me. Cannot fault anything. The surgeon Mr Clifton visited to check on me which was again reassuring. Physio staff helped me through the first few steps and through to going home. Thank you to everyone especially Mr Clifton.

Mr. Clifton was my surgeon for a total knee replacement. From the time of my first consultation with him he showed total respect and kindness. The operation has been very successful and i am almost back to normal (without the pain) after only 8 weeks.
